Packaging: Sodium sulfide belongs to Class 8 corrosive dangerous goods, UN1849, and the packaging needs to be Class II. Clear and durable dangerous goods labels, including corrosive labels, and then GHS labels must be affixed on the packaging. Each package must be affixed.
Documents required for shipment:
1.MSDS: Chemical Safety Data Sheet, which provides detailed information on the physical and chemical properties, hazardous characteristics, safe operation recommendations, emergency treatment methods, etc. of sodium sulfide. Usually a Chinese and English version is required.
2. Dangerous Goods Packaging Certificate: The full name is “Dangerous Goods Packaging Use Identification Result Sheet”, which is applied for by the company producing the packaging container to the Commodity Inspection Bureau to prove that the packaging container meets the relevant dangerous goods packaging requirements.
3. Commodity Inspection Clearance Certificate: Indicates that the goods have passed the inspection and quarantine of the entry-exit inspection and quarantine agency.
4. Customs declaration information: including packing list, invoice, contract, and customs declaration. The data must be consistent.
5. Booking order: contains correct information of consignee, number of pieces, weight, volume, port of departure, port of destination, etc.
